First Ghan arriving in Darwin

On Tuesday, 3rd of February, 2003,at 17:00 hrs local time, NR74 & NR109 painted in a special Ghan Livery arived with the first passenger service to travel between Adelaide, in the south, to Darwin, in the North. A very large crowed turned out to see the train, despite the rottern weather.
